They traveled to Old Vail Middle School, Corona Foothills Middle School, and Andrada Polytechnic High School in Tucson (Vail), Arizona.
This program, aimed at motivating English learning, enhancing international awareness, and enabling students to acquire practical English skills through living in the local environment, is being conducted in Tucson (Vail), Arizona, for four weeks from the 11th of this month to the 11th of next month.
The county provided the opportunity to all third-year middle school students wishing to participate in the language study program, selecting the final 30 students through written and oral English tests.
Additionally, a pre-orientation session was held to address questions from participants and their parents and to provide preliminary education, ensuring that no student faces difficulties adapting overseas.
This language study program is expected to offer Sinan students, who face relatively poor English education conditions, valuable experiences to broaden their horizons through diverse overseas cultural experiences and English learning. During the program, students will attend classes at American schools and stay with local families through homestays, which will provide opportunities to improve language skills and learn the value of understanding and empathizing with other cultures.

Governor Park Woo-ryang stated, “Compared to the world, Sinan, where our students belong, is a small place, but this language study program is intended to give them the opportunity to expand their limited domestic perspectives and ignite their potential through valuable experiences learned abroad.” He also urged, “Please return safely and in good health.”
