Hwasun-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Public Work and Community Job' Programs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 13th that it will recruit a total of 145 people, including 108 participants for the first half public work project and 37 participants for the community job project, from the 20th to the 28th of this month.
The county is promoting financially supported job projects (public work projects and community job projects) to provide jobs to vulnerable employment groups, aiming to stabilize the livelihood of low-income households and revitalize the local economy.
To this end, 995 million KRW will be invested in the first half (February to June).
The public work project will implement 32 projects focused on youth jobs, including informatization, public service support, and environmental cleanup.
The community job project consists of 4 projects, including support for multicultural families and maintenance of the Dolmen historic site.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, capable of working, have a household income at or below 65% of the median income standard, and assets under 200 million KRW.
Those wishing to participate should prepare identification and related documents and apply at the administrative welfare center in their resident registration area.
The county plans to finalize the candidates on the 11th of next month after reviewing various selection criteria such as qualifications, income, assets, and participation history, and will individually notify them via phone or text message.
Confirmed participants will sign labor contracts on the 13th of next month and be assigned to the respective workplaces on the 17th.
