As of 10 a.m. on the 13th, the petition titled "Do not disband the investigation team for the three major allegations against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol," posted on the 6th, has exceeded 130,000 supporters.
If a petition receives more than 200,000 supporters, the Blue House is required to respond officially.
In the petition, the petitioner pointed out, "These days, the Blue House and the Ministry of Justice keep shouting about prosecutorial reform whenever they open their mouths," and asked, "What exactly are they trying to reform and how?"
They continued, "Reform means correcting what is wrong, but the prosecution these days is doing the best in history," and claimed, "The vast majority of the public absolutely supports it."
They further asserted, "Since Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol took office, things have changed. They started investigating without yielding to the living power," and added, "(The prosecution) has found its place and returned to normal. The majority of the public cheered and is actively supporting it."
