DIA TV Recruits YouTube Channel Partners Including Comedian Park Mi-sun
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] CJ ENM's support project for individual creators, 'Dia TV,' announced on the 9th that it has recruited famous YouTube channels such as Park Mi-sun, Mekit Rain, Jeon Hyo-sung, and Jonathan as partners.
Dia TV supports the operation of YouTube channels and jointly produces content under the policy of helping celebrities and other famous figures grow as YouTube creators and strengthening the acquisition of intellectual property rights (IP) for digital content.
Comedian Park Mi-sun will release a review-type web entertainment show called 'Mi-sun Impossible,' with the concept of the older generation experiencing the culture of the 1020 generation, starting from the 10th. Hip-hop label Mekit Rain Records, which produced both the winner and runner-up of 'Show Me The Money 777,' has been presenting experiential content operating seasonal pop-up stores through the YouTube channel 'Mekit One (MKIT WON)' since the 3rd. Artists such as Mekit One's Nafla, Loopy, Owen, and Blue appear in this content.
Singer Jeon Hyo-sung, who started YouTube activities in earnest since last year, and Jonathan, a broadcaster from Congo, recently formed a partnership with Dia TV. Jeon Hyo-sung, who established the independent label JHS Entertainment and released a 10th-anniversary commemorative single, uploads content such as idol makeup and behind-the-scenes stories of music videos on her YouTube channel 'Bling Darling Jeon Hyo-sung.' Jonathan began uploading YouTube content that humorously explores life and culture in Korea since August last year and has now surpassed 220,000 subscribers.
