[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the 8th at 3:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, visited Sanggye Jungang Market (Sanggye-ro 27-gil 32) on site.
Sanggye Jungang Market was registered as a market in August 2010, consisting of 78 stores, and the Merchants' Association includes 74 members led by Chairman Kwon Seok-geun.
This visit was arranged to greet the merchants for the New Year 2020 and to identify any inconveniences experienced by the merchants.
The merchants conveyed to Mayor Oh Seung-rok issues such as mediation of coexistence agreements between building owners and tenant merchants, time-based vehicle traffic bans on market roads, and changes to the stop lines and traffic signal systems on the one-way street at the market entrance.
