According to the '2020 Estimated Transfer Fees of Players in Europe's Top 5 Leagues' report released by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) under the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Son Heung-min's value was assessed at 78.5 million euros (approximately 102.2 billion KRW).

Among the players listed, Son Heung-min was the only one of Asian nationality.
CIES, jointly established by FIFA and the University of Neuch?tel in Switzerland, calculates player values annually in early January for those belonging to Europe's top 5 leagues.
Last year, Son Heung-min's estimated value was set at 93.9 million euros (approximately 120.3 billion KRW), which has decreased by 15.4 million euros this year.
