Seoul City Gender Equality Fund Public Project Announcement Total 1 Billion KRW... Applications Accepted Until the 28th
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 7th that it will conduct a public contest for the Gender Equality Fund projects this year. The total amount is 1 billion KRW, with a maximum support of 30 million KRW per project.
Applications can only be submitted online, and applicants must apply through the Seoul WFNGO Cooperation Center website by 6 PM on the 28th.
The designated contest fields are ▲ Support for victims related to gender equality (including secondary damage), prevention and response to gender violence including cyber sexual violence and dating violence ▲ Gender-equal local communities, intergenerational networking (including youth and men), content production and distribution for the 10-20 generation ▲ Gender wage gap, prevention of employment interruption, expansion of women's social participation, work-life balance, totaling three categories. Open contest fields will also be accepted.
Eligibility to apply includes women's organizations located in Seoul and non-profit organizations or non-profit corporations that operate for the purpose of improving women's rights. Each organization (institution) can apply for one project, and consortium participating organizations are also considered to be applying for one project.
Submitted projects will be reviewed by the Seoul Gender Equality Fund Operation Deliberation Committee and announced on February 28.

Meanwhile, to provide detailed information about the Gender Equality Fund public contest projects, Seoul will hold a project briefing session at 3 PM on the 14th in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of the Seoul City Hall New Building.
