Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Selected as 'Best Record Management Institution'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 7th that it was selected as the best institution in the '2019 Records Management Institution Evaluation' conducted by the National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety recently conducted a records management institution evaluation targeting 316 institutions, including city and provincial offices of education nationwide, central administrative agencies, and special local administrative agencies.
The evaluation was conducted through quantitative and qualitative assessments across 17 indicators in four areas: records management work foundation, records management work promotion, and records management services.
As a result of the evaluation, Jeonnam Office of Education was selected as the best institution (Grade A) for two consecutive years following 2018.
The records management institution evaluation is conducted annually under Article 9 of the Public Records Management Act to strengthen the records management capabilities of public institutions and improve the system.
