'60-Year-Old Man Arrested for Arson at Sangam-dong Parking Building'

On the 7th, Judge Yoo Chang-hoon, in charge of warrants at the Seoul Western District Court, announced that he had issued an arrest warrant for Mr. A, a man in his 60s arrested on suspicion of arson of an occupied building, stating "there is a risk of flight," as requested by the prosecution.
Mr. A is suspected of deliberately setting fire on December 29 last year at 9:08 a.m. to the parking management office located on the first basement floor of a parking complex building with six basement levels and four above-ground floors in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. There were no casualties from the fire. Property damage estimated by the fire station amounted to approximately 1.3 million KRW, including office equipment such as a copier inside the management office.
