MBK Partners Promotes 'Inkyung Lee' to First Female Partner
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Jeong-su] MBK Partners, the largest private equity firm in Northeast Asia, announced on the 6th that it has appointed Vice President (CFO) Lee In-kyung as a partner. She is the first female partner since the establishment of MBK Partners.
The new partner graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Economics and entered the capital market by joining Anjin Accounting Corporation. She then served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Morgan Stanley Properties Korea before joining MBK Partners in 2006.
She is currently the CFO responsible for financial management at MBK Partners. While serving as Head of Investor Relations, she played a key bridging role between MBK Partners and over 80 domestic and international LPs (Limited Partners). She is especially recognized for significantly contributing to MBK Partners' establishment of world-class governance and risk management capabilities.

Partner Lee will participate in major decision-making processes at MBK Partners going forward. In particular, she will exercise investment decision authority as a member of the Investment Committee.
