Jinju City to Host 2020 Jinju Fortress Soccer Stove League
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] Jinju City announced on the 3rd that the 2020 Jinju Fortress Soccer Stove League will be held at Jinju Sports Park for 14 days from the 6th to the 19th.
Hosted by Jinju City and organized by the Jinju City Football Association, this tournament features 18 soccer teams from cities and counties nationwide that have come to Jinju for winter training camps. The teams are divided into lower grade and upper grade divisions and compete in a league format by team.
A Jinju City official stated, “With about 1,000 players and their families visiting Jinju during the tournament, we expect to greatly invigorate the local economy, including lodging and food businesses.” He added, “We will carry out various promotional activities so that the training teams visiting Jinju will come back again.”
