On the broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot' aired on the 2nd, star math instructor Jeong Seung-je appeared. He introduced himself by saying, "I will move students with math and parents with trot." He revealed that he has "a cumulative student count of 8 million," showcasing his star instructor status.
On this episode, Jeong Seung-je explained his reason for appearing, saying, "There are students who give up because math is difficult. I wanted to send a message to those who give up halfway without trying, saying 'I will challenge music, so you try together with me.'"
He chose the song 'Yalmieun Saram' and performed a unique choreography. Breaking the prejudice that he might not sing well, he also showed off his refreshing vocal skills, capturing the hearts of the Mr. Trot masters.
Jeong Seung-je has been giving math lectures on EBS since 2009 and currently serves as the CEO of MK Edutainment, which publishes math lecture materials.
Mr. Trot master Jang Yoon-jung praised him, saying, "At first, there was some awkwardness, but maybe because he is used to standing in front of many people, his charm gradually comes out. He sings well." Park Hyun-bin also gave positive feedback, saying, "It shows that you practiced a lot. Your gestures are good."
Jang Young-ran, as a parent with children, requested consultation about math, and Jeong Seung-je replied, "The most important thing is the concept. But people mistakenly think memorizing formulas is the concept." He added, "If I explain this, it gets lengthy, so just take my class."
'Mr. Trot' is a new entertainment program on TV Chosun that started airing on January 2.
