40s Man Walking on National Road Fatally Hit by Passenger Cars in Succession

According to the Yeonggwang Police Station in Jeonnam on the 3rd, at around 3:10 a.m. that day, an SM7 passenger car driven by A (38) collided with pedestrian B (49) on National Route 22 in Beopseong-myeon, Yeonggwang-gun, Jeonnam.
Subsequently, two passenger cars following behind also failed to notice B and hit him.
As a result of the accident, B was transported to the hospital but was ultimately reported dead.
Police investigation revealed that the accident occurred on a four-lane national highway with a speed limit of 80 km/h, and there was a shoulder where pedestrians could walk.
