Export-Import Bank Launches Mobile Service for '2020 World Countries Almanac'
Contains Key Information on 216 Countries Worldwide… Serves as a Compass for Establishing Overseas Market Entry Strategies
Also Published as a Booklet… Distributed Free of Charge and Scheduled to Be Posted on KEXIM Website
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] The Korea Export-Import Bank's Institute for Global Economic Research announced on the 3rd that it has launched the mobile service for the "2020 World Country Handbook."
The "2020 World Country Handbook" mobile app provides an easy-to-view mobile service that offers an overview of 216 countries worldwide, key economic indicators, social and development indicators, and relations with Korea (trade status and investment status) at a glance.
Since its first publication in 1985 as the first of its kind in Korea, the World Country Handbook has served as a compass for the government, export companies, and financial institutions in establishing foreign economic cooperation and overseas market entry strategies. As the popularity of the World Country Handbook has increased every year, KEXIM now offers the handbook, which was previously published as a booklet for readers' convenience, as a mobile application.
The mobile app can be downloaded by searching for "World Country Handbook" on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and One Store, or by scanning the QR code on the cover of the "2020 World Country Handbook" booklet. It allows easy access via mobile instead of the 500-page booklet, making it useful for long-distance travel such as business trips.
Additionally, the "2020 World Country Handbook" is also published as a booklet. The booklet appendix is organized by topics of interest to readers, such as rankings by economic indicators of each country, energy status, business management conditions, global competitiveness index, and foreign direct investment statistics.
