View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 2nd that it held the ‘2020 Opening Ceremony’ attended by about 300 faculty members including Superintendent Jang Seok-woong.
At the ceremony, the youth future challenge project team ‘Aeblime,’ consisting of four members including graduates and current students of Jangseongnam Middle School and out-of-school youth, performed a Nanta drum performance to mark a vigorous start to the new year.
The Aeblime team expressed the excitement and power of traditional Nanta through dynamic and tempo control of Samdo Samulnori rhythms such as Daenadong Garak, Yukchae Garak, and Malgup Jangdan for about ten minutes.
Superintendent Jang Seok-woong said, “Dreams make a person. A big bird embraces a big sky,” and added, “In the new year, whether in Heuksando, Ttangkkeut, Jirisan, Bitgaram, or anywhere else, I hope you boldly dream and vigorously unfold your future.”
