Everland Opens 'Tulip Festival' in Collaboration with Sanrio Characters on the 21st

The long-awaited, vibrant spring can now be experienced at the 'Everland Tulip Festival,' featuring around 1.2 million fresh spring flowers of over 100 varieties.

At the Everland Tulip Festival, you can enjoy Korea's first original Sanrio Characters performance and a variety of character content alongside colorful spring flowers. It's expected to be the hottest spot this spring for families, couples, and friends looking for a spring outing or date destination.

Running until June 15, this year's Tulip Festival follows a story where Sanrio Characters gather for a Flower Carnival. Visitors can immerse themselves in themed zones, attractions, performances, food, and merchandise, experiencing fantastic character content that stimulates all five senses.

In addition to last year's popular Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, and Pompompurin, rising stars among the MZ generation such as Hangyodong, Kerokerokeroppi, and Usahana have been added, bringing the total to nine Sanrio Characters you can meet.

Character experience zones have been expanded throughout the park?from the main entrance to the gardens?including Four Seasons Garden, Global Fair, Magic Land, and the Festival Content Zone, maximizing immersion from the moment you enter Everland until you leave.

The main festival stage, the Four Seasons Garden (about 10,000 square meters), features 11 Sanrio Characters themed zones, where you can enjoy each character’s story in a cute and entertaining way amidst beautiful, vibrant spring flowers.

At the Windmill Stage, a giant 7-meter-tall Cinnamoroll sculpture (ABR) and themed food trucks offer limited daily servings of Cinnamoroll-shaped popcorn buckets and soda-flavored ice cream.

At the Carnival Game Zone for rising star Hangyodong, you can participate in a lucky roulette game to win character merchandise.

In front of the large LED screen, a signature photo spot recreates Hello Kitty's face as a giant three-dimensional topiary using beautiful fresh spring flowers, expected to be a big hit.

Especially here, Korea’s first original Sanrio Characters performance is held daily, drawing much anticipation from Sanrio fans.

You can also enjoy My Melody’s Flower Balloon Garden, Pompompurin’s Flower Circus, and Pochacco’s Marching Band Garden. Kuromi’s Fortune Telling Garden, located at the Alpine Entrance Festival Content Zone, connects story and experience at Kuromi’s Fortune Station, offering an even more expanded character experience.

There are also attractions where you can experience Sanrio Characters in new ways. In Magic Land, the Cinnamoroll themed zone features the Sky Dancing ride?an aerial carousel resembling clouds and Cinnamoroll. Nearby, Cinnamoroll cotton candy and popcorn are also sold.

There is a wide variety of Sanrio Characters themed food and merchandise. The Garden Terrace, famous for its beautiful spring flower scenery, transforms into a Sanrio Characters themed restaurant, offering 13 new character menu items from meals like Cinnamoroll beef stew, Hello Kitty chicken salad, and Kuromi berry donuts to snacks and beverages.

With the opening of the Everland Tulip Festival, Four Seasons Garden bursts into bloom with about 1.2 million vibrant spring flowers of over 100 varieties, including tulips, daffodils, and muscari.

At Sky Garden Path, the metropolitan area's first plum blossom themed garden, you can enjoy 11 types and about 700 plum trees, including Mancheophongmae, Yulgokmae, and Yongyumae, as well as various spring flowers, blooming in sequence depending on the flowering status.

Recently launched, the 'Garden Pass' subscription service allows you to experience a variety of plant content and programs?flowers, forests, gardens?renewed each month throughout the four seasons.

Visually immersive themed zones are also a highlight. On Magic Island, the outdoor area by Seokchon Lake, four Pok?mon-themed zones bring the world of Pok?mon to life. The "Main Bridge" leading to Magic Castle transforms into a "Pok?mon Meadow" at night, sparkling with countless lights for a 3D effect.

The Magic Castle wall displays vibrant jungle-themed mapping, while the ground glows with colorful lights. Pok?mon silhouette banners hang from the streetlights on either side of the Main Bridge, adding fun as guests search for hidden Pok?mon throughout the park. Magic Castle, the symbol of Lotte World, transforms into a special space sure to delight Pok?mon fans. The second floor becomes a meticulously detailed Pok?mon experience zone, where guests can browse various props and interact with characters in the world of Pok?mon.

The third floor is set to unveil a mysterious, secret space, further piquing guests' curiosity. The Magic Castle interior themed zones will open separately on March 8, along with the launch of the "Spring Camp Mission Tour," which enhances the immersive experience of each Pok?mon zone. Guests can purchase an explorer's notebook and embark on a journey to complete missions throughout Pok?mon World.

Other must-see spots for fans include the "Winnie Beanie Photo Zone" where you can meet Charizard in a blaze of fire, and "Phantom's Cave" on Adventure's fourth floor.
