The volunteer team set up a temporary booth with a blue tent on the dry grass, providing snacks, drinks, and hot meals to support the personnel involved in the rescue operation. A representative from the volunteer group stated, "It is difficult for the firefighters, police, and National Forensic Service officials there to have proper meals," adding, "Our members pooled their resources to prepare the food truck and provide meals, and we withdrew this morning."

Netizen A shared a story about their mother participating in the volunteer effort on social media the previous day, saying, "My mother went to the site to volunteer, hoping to be of any help," and "If you go to the place where people in blue clothes are, you can get a warm coffee or meal, so please let any officials at the scene know." Comments on the post included, "Thank you so much, especially with the cold weather," and "Whenever there is a crisis, our people come together to help. We are a great nation."

Meanwhile, support efforts reportedly continued inside the airport as well. Airport construction employees and volunteers set up about 100 relief tents on the second floor of Muan International Airport last night, providing bereaved families with essential supplies and warm meals. In addition, volunteers from the Gwangju and Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross, who visited the accident site from various parts of Gwangju and Jeonnam, prepared and served porridge, soup, rice, and side dishes. In the parking lot between Muan Airport and the administration building, lunch box distribution was carried out for families and officials who could not eat at restaurants.

Previously, after hearing news of the disaster the previous day, about 1,000 local volunteers from organizations such as the Muan-gun Volunteer Center made and distributed rice cake soup. Volunteers from the Samyook Community Service Honam Regional Headquarters loaded snacks such as tangerines, bread, and drinks onto carts and handed them out to the families of victims staying near the tents. In the airport waiting area, organizations such as the Korean Red Cross and the Korea Housing Builders Association set up tents, while outside the airport building, temporary shower facilities and psychological counseling support buses were also in operation. At the airport caf?, someone even made a 'prepayment' so that bereaved families and accident response officials could enjoy hot coffee.

Korea Electric Power Corporation employees rushed to the airport with urgently needed daily necessities such as socks, towels, and hot packs. Volunteers from all over the country continued to arrive. Since the previous afternoon, donations of food items such as water, soy milk, cup noodles, gimbap, and snacks, as well as winter supplies like blankets and hot packs, have steadily been provided on the second floor of Muan Airport, offering some comfort to grieving families.
