The Seoul Tourism Organization announced on the 3rd that 'Seouldal', which offers a panoramic view of Seoul from 130 meters above Yeouido, surpassed 20,000 riders in just 100 days since its official launch.
'Seouldal' is a full-moon-shaped helium gas balloon that flies vertically 130 meters above Yeouido Park, allowing visitors to enjoy a sweeping view of the Han River and the Yeouido cityscape at night. It currently operates Tuesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 10 PM, with a maximum capacity of 20 people per ride and each flight lasting about 15 minutes.
The foundation reported that since its official opening on August 23, 'Seouldal' achieved 20,000 riders, 500 million KRW in sales, and over 1,800 accident-free flights in just 100 days. With one in five riders being international tourists, the foundation added that 'Seouldal' is establishing itself as a representative tourist landmark of Seoul.
