Korea Investment Management's 'ACE US Space Tech Active' ETF Surpasses 200 Billion Won in Net Assets
Focused Investment in Space Tech and New Space Companies
Eligible for SpaceX Inclusion on Listing Day
The total net asset value (AUM) of the ACE US Space Tech Active Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) from Korea Investment Management has surpassed 200 billion won.
According to the Korea Exchange on May 13, the total net asset value of the ACE US Space Tech Active ETF stood at 204.7 billion won as of the previous day. This ETF exceeded 100 billion won in net assets just six trading days after its listing on April 14, and surpassed 200 billion won in just over one month since its debut.
The ACE US Space Tech Active ETF is an actively managed ETF that invests in high-growth companies within the space industry. Its portfolio focuses on "New Space" companies rather than traditional aerospace and defense firms.
The main holdings include ▲Rocket Lab (26.48%) ▲EchoStar (21.52%) ▲Redwire (4.37%) ▲Intuitive Machines (4.25%) ▲MDA Space (4.08%) ▲AST SpaceMobile (3.92%), among others. In particular, the allocation to EchoStar, which holds shares in SpaceX, is the highest among all ETFs listed in Korea. MDA Space and York Space Systems, both newly listed this year, are only included in this ETF among all ETFs listed in Korea.
The ETF has also delivered strong results in terms of returns and capital inflows. Since its listing, it has posted a return of 14.88%. Net purchases by individual investors have reached 81.6 billion won. Except for two days since its launch, net buying by individual investors has continued.

Kim Hyuntae, head of the Global Quantitative Management Division at Korea Investment Management, stated, "As the space industry is still in its early growth stages, it is important to build a portfolio centered on high-growth, pure space technology companies and to respond swiftly to market changes." He added, "We will continue to deliver strong performance based on the research capabilities we have accumulated since managing the Korea Investment Global Space Technology & Defense Fund since 2023."
