View original imageThe "Re-design" project is a community-driven policing policy in which residents propose issues of disorder or risk factors they encounter in their daily lives, and the police and related organizations promptly address them. The aim is to reflect residents' voices in public safety administration and work together to solve local safety problems.
Residents who received certificates of appreciation suggested practical ideas, such as proposing the installation of crime prevention facilities in blind spots or requesting improvements to hazardous facilities along children's school routes. There was also a case where a resident discovered an intoxicated person collapsed on a side street and immediately reported it, thereby preventing a possible fatal accident. Officials from related organizations who responded quickly to residents' suggestions were also recognized with certificates of appreciation.
