Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Unveils Safety Characters "Oneul-i" and "Anjeon-i"
Accelerating the Spread of Safety Culture
Debut at the Safe Korea Drill on May 20
Korea Industrial Complex Corporation unveiled two safety characters, "Oneul-i" and "Anjeon-i," on May 6 in order to enhance safety awareness within industrial complexes and promote a prevention-oriented safety culture. The new characters intuitively embody the catchphrase "Safety Every Day," and were designed to communicate the importance of safety management in industrial complexes in a friendly manner.
In particular, these newly released characters visually incorporate essential safety elements found at industrial sites. The orange character "Oneul-i" wears a safety helmet equipped with a warning light and a "Caution (!)" sign, symbolizing alertness to danger, and holds a signal baton to represent the role of guiding on-site safety. The green character "Anjeon-i" wears a safety helmet with a green cross mark and goggles, carrying a first aid kit, symbolizing "thorough protection and swift response."
Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to introduce these characters for the first time on-site at the "2026 Disaster Response Safe Korea Drill," which will be held at the Incheon Namdong Knowledge Industry Center on May 20. To boost participation and interest in the safety drill, the characters will also be actively used across various promotional channels—such as banners and posters—at the 13 regional headquarters nationwide during the first half training week, which runs from May 18 to May 29.
