Hansem to Absorb Hansem Nexus, Targeting the High-End B2B Market
Seeking Synergy by Merging Hansem Nexus’s B2B High-End Expertise
Targeting Ultra-Luxury Residence Special Sales in Apgujeong, Seongsu, and Beyond
Hansem will absorb and merge with Hansem Nexus, a specialized home interior company. The strategy is to combine the strengths of both companies in the increasingly upscale real estate market and secure competitiveness in the B2B (business-to-business) special sales sector.
On May 7, Hansem announced that it plans to proceed in the second half of the year with a restructuring of its B2B business structure by merging with Hansem Nexus and integrating the capabilities of its own Special Sales Business Division with Hansem Nexus's B2B organization.
Hansem expects the merger to create synergy by combining the infrastructure of the head office with Hansem Nexus's expertise in the high-end market.
The Special Sales Business Division of Hansem has a solid network with major domestic construction companies, as well as company-wide supply chain management (SCM), IT systems, marketing, rigorous quality assurance (QA), and systematic construction management capabilities. By adding Hansem Nexus's strengths in sales to developers and reconstruction associations, as well as experience in executing premium projects, the company aims to enhance its competitiveness in the B2B business sector.
In the future, Hansem plans to leverage the strengths of Nexus to target the premium redevelopment and reconstruction market in key Seoul areas such as Apgujeong, Seongsu, and Hannam, as well as the top-tier residential special sales market.
Based on the expertise to provide everything from design and construction to after-sales quality management in a one-stop manner, the company intends to expand its business scope beyond the existing apartment pre-sale market to the premium residential market as well.
