'World-Renowned Realist Comes to Busan... Ananti Hosts Alice Dalton Brown Retrospective'
Held at Village de Ananti Until September
Showcasing Masterpieces from Early Works to Latest Creations
Ananti will host a retrospective exhibition of the world-renowned realist painter Alice Dalton Brown at the Ananti Culture Club within Village de Ananti from May 23 to September 27.
This exhibition showcases the artist's body of work spanning approximately 50 years, from her early pieces to her latest work in 2024, "Evanescence."
Alice Dalton Brown is a New York-based painter who is acclaimed for her realistic depictions of light and everyday scenes. Her works are part of major collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the New York Public Library in New York.
The theme of the exhibition is "Spaces Where Light Stays." It introduces lyrical interpretations of everyday scenes through works featuring windows, curtains, and seascapes as subjects.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Ananti will also offer art merchandise and food and beverage programs. Limited-edition handkerchiefs and package deals combining exhibition admission with restaurant vouchers will be available only during the exhibition period.
Ananti stated, "The Alice Dalton Brown retrospective is more than just an exhibition; it is a project that symbolizes the unique experiences Ananti strives to provide, where everyday life and art coexist," adding, "We aim to deliver that experience."
