Iran's Revolutionary Guard Warns: "War Will Expand Beyond the Middle East if Attacked Again"
Warning of Expanded Scope of War
As speculation mounts that the United States and Israel are considering resuming military operations due to the failure of ceasefire negotiations, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has warned that the scope of the war could expand beyond the Middle East.
On May 20 (local time), the Revolutionary Guard issued a statement through state-run media outlets such as Fars News Agency, saying, "The American and Zionist (Israeli) enemies have failed to learn any lessons from their repeated major and strategic defeats against the Islamic Revolution. They have mobilized all the capabilities of the world's two most expensive militaries, but we have yet to deploy the full potential of the Islamic Revolution against them."
The Revolutionary Guard also issued a strong warning about the possible escalation of the war. They stated, "If acts of aggression against Iran occur again, the regional war that was initially forewarned will expand beyond the Middle East. Our devastating strikes, delivered from completely unexpected locations, will lead our enemies to total ruin."
