Kim Kyunghee, candidate for Mayor of Icheon (People Power Party), signed a policy agreement with the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Icheon-Yeojoo Branch and presented policy directions aimed at creating a city where labor is respected and improving the quality of life for citizens.

View original imageThrough this agreement, candidate Kim announced her commitment to improving the overall labor environment by reflecting the voices from the field, including enhancements in housing, transportation, safety, welfare, and protection of rights and interests. She also identified key tasks such as tailored housing support for young people, newlyweds, and industrial workers; improvements in commuting transportation networks; expansion of care and education infrastructure; and strengthening integrated support for corporate investment.
After listening to feedback on-site, Kim stated, "I deeply realized that these stories are not just things to be heard from someone else's perspective," and added, "I will accept these issues as my own, listen with sincerity, and take responsibility for addressing them."
She further emphasized, "I will create a city where people can work, live, and design their future in Icheon," and added, "I will carry this forward with the pride of working citizens."
She also described this period as the "golden time for Icheon's growth" and expressed a strong commitment to pursuing these policies.

Later that day, at 3 p.m., a launch ceremony for the southern region will take place in front of the Janghowon Nonghyup. The candidates stated, "We will strive again with experience and capability," and called for the interest and support of the citizens.
