Korea Exchange Holds Emissions Trading Policy Seminar
The Korea Exchange is set to discuss strategies for advancing the emissions trading market and how the industrial sector should respond.
On the 19th, the Korea Exchange announced that it had co-hosted a seminar with the Emissions Trading Market Council titled "Major Changes in the 4th Phase of the Emissions Trading System Market and Industrial Response Strategies."
At this event, Kim Maru, Director of the Climate Economy Division at the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, gave a presentation on "Strategies for Advancing the Emissions Trading Market" and "Directions for Activating External Projects." Kwon Donghyeok, Deputy CEO of BNZ Partners, proposed policies related to key amendments in the Enforcement Decree of the Emissions Trading Act and allocation guidelines.
