NH-Amundi Asset Management Lists HANARO Mid-term Comprehensive Bond (A-or Above) Active ETF
NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on the 19th that it will newly list the 'HANARO Mid-term Comprehensive Bond (A-or Above) Active' Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), which invests in high-quality domestic mid-term bonds.
This product primarily targets high-quality domestic bonds with a credit rating of A- or above, a remaining maturity of between 3 months and 5 years, and an outstanding issuance amount of at least KRW 50 billion. The benchmark index is the 'KIS Mid-term Comprehensive Bond Market Total Return Index (A-or Above)'. As of May 15, the average yield to maturity (YTM) was 3.595%, and the duration (average investment recovery period) was 1.826 years.
The mid-term bonds adopted by this ETF can provide higher interest income compared to short-term bonds, and when interest rates decline, investors can also expect capital gains from rising bond prices. Accordingly, it is expected to become a stable and attractive option for individual investors who are considering asset rebalancing after realizing profits in the stock market.
The HANARO Mid-term Comprehensive Bond (A-or Above) Active ETF is actively managed to generate higher interest income and capital gains. Investment bonds are selected through macroeconomic analysis-based duration and curve strategies, as well as relative value analysis between issues. In particular, to enhance objectivity and stability in the management process, a team approach is employed in which both research staff and fund managers participate, rather than relying solely on the judgment of individual fund managers.

Han Soo-il, Executive Director of NH-Amundi Asset Management, stated, "Mid-term bonds are a good alternative for those who seek both profitability and stability in an uncertain market environment, as they can supplement profitability while reducing the burden of interest rate fluctuations. We will deliver stable yet differentiated results through strict risk management principles."
