Introduction of the NTPGA Scholarship Program Starting This Year
CJ Group is strengthening its corporate social responsibility (CSR) for future generations and local communities through its golf tournament.
From May 21, 2026 (local time), CJ Group will host a variety of CSR activities that support the growth of future golf prospects and engage with local communities during The CJ Cup Byron Nelson (total prize money of 10.3 million dollars), a PGA Tour event held over four days at TPC Craig Ranch (par 71, 7,385 yards) in McKinney, Texas, USA.

These participants will receive one-point lessons and join Q&A mentoring sessions with PGA Tour players. They will also experience Korean cuisine by sharing Bibigo lunch boxes and more together.
Bridge Kids, which began in 2017, is now in its ninth year. PGA Tour players meet with aspiring youth golfers, share stories, and offer direct lessons to create unforgettable memories. Not only Korean players such as K.J. Choi, Sungjae Im, and Siwoo Kim, but also world-class golfers such as Tommy Fleetwood from England have participated as mentors.
This year, CJ Group is also launching a new local community social contribution program: the NTPGA Scholarship Program. Five high school seniors from the Texas region will be selected to receive scholarships of 10,000 dollars each, supporting their growth into globally competitive talents in a stable environment.
At the signature 17th hole of The CJ Cup, the Birdie Campaign will be held. For every birdie recorded, a donation of 1,000 dollars will be accumulated. The total donations will be delivered to mental health support organizations for children, youth, and families in the Dallas area. In 2024 and last year, 76 and 104 birdies were recorded, respectively, resulting in approximately 180,000 dollars in donations.
