KSD Nanum Foundation Supports Culturally Underprivileged Groups in Busan
KSD Nanum Foundation of Korea Securities Depository (KSD) has delivered a donation to support children and youth from underprivileged cultural backgrounds in the Busan region.
According to Korea Securities Depository on May 18, the KSD Nanum Foundation provided a donation of 33 million won to the Busan Regional Office of ChildFund Korea. Through this donation, about 800 children and youth in Busan—who have been excluded from cultural and artistic experiences, including those at multicultural family support centers, welfare centers for the disabled, and child welfare institutions—will be supported to attend art exhibitions, musicals, movies, concerts, and local festivals.
This sponsorship initiative helps to reduce the cultural and artistic enjoyment gap among culturally underprivileged children and youth, and contributes to raising interest in the arts and culture sector.
