The Democratic Party of Korea and the Progressive Party, who have agreed to unify their candidates for the Ulsan mayoral election, will conduct a public opinion poll on May 23 and 24 to select the unified candidate.

The primary opinion poll to select a unified candidate for Nam-gu district chief between Democratic Party candidate Choi Deokjong and Progressive Party candidate Kim Jinseok, as well as the poll for Ulju County mayor between Democratic Party candidate Kim Siwook and Progressive Party candidate Kang Sanggyu, are scheduled for May 19 and 20.
The primary opinion poll to select unified candidates for metropolitan council members will be conducted on May 24 and 25.
