Shin Jungyang, the People Power Party candidate for Geochang County Council District A, held an opening ceremony for his campaign office at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th, officially launching his election campaign.
Members of the People Power Party, party members, and local residents attended the opening ceremony to congratulate candidate Shin Jungyang on his candidacy and to reaffirm their determination for victory in the local elections.

View original imageIn his welcome speech, candidate Shin Jungyang said, "I am deeply grateful to all the distinguished guests, party members, and county residents who attended the opening ceremony despite their busy schedules," and added, "Today is not just about opening a campaign office, but it marks the starting point for creating new hope and change in Geochang."
He continued, "As the Vice Chair of the 9th Geochang County Council, I have worked tirelessly to communicate closely with the residents and to resolve local issues," and emphasized, "I will continue to practice grassroots politics alongside the people and do my utmost for the development of our region."
On this day, Shin Sungbeom, Chair of the 22nd National Assembly Intelligence Committee, attended the event and delivered a message of encouragement.
Shin Sungbeom remarked, "Candidate Shin Jungyang knows every corner of the region better than anyone else and has always engaged with the residents," and assessed him as "a prepared public servant who listens closely to the voices of the people and is ready to put those needs into action through policy and legislative work."
He further stated, "It is true that the People Power Party is currently facing much criticism from the public, but now is the time for conservatives to unite," and emphasized, "Especially in difficult times, we must come together as one and move forward for the development of the region and the future of the Republic of Korea."
He also added, "A candidate who can work sincerely for the development of Geochang must be chosen," and requested, "I ask for your support and attention so that candidate Shin Jungyang can fulfill his role as a reliable county council member who meets the expectations of the residents."
