This competition was organized to respond to the rapidly changing distribution environment and to promote the expansion of smart agricultural management.
The county showcased the digital capabilities of its agricultural sector to the nation.
Min Gwanki, who took home the Grand Prize in the live commerce category, is a returning farmer growing sprout ginseng in Dasan-myeon, Goryeong County.
He has received overwhelming praise from the judges for communicating with consumers in real time using high-quality sprout ginseng grown on his own farm, as well as for his sincere storytelling and creative sales strategies unique to a returning farmer.
Currently serving as Secretary General of the Goryeong County Informatization Farmers Association, Min Gwanki is widely regarded as a model "smart innovative farmer," having consistently led the way in farm management and digital marketing using smart devices.
This award is especially meaningful as it represents an on-the-ground achievement of the digital farmer training programs promoted by the Goryeong County Agricultural Technology Center.
The county has supported farmers with systematic training in areas such as live commerce presentation, content planning, and social networking service (SNS) marketing, thereby helping them develop new distribution channels.
Min Gwanki commented, "Thanks to the customized training offered by the Goryeong County Agricultural Technology Center, I was able to confidently take on the online market. Going forward, I will do my utmost, together with other informatization farmers in Goryeong County, to promote the value of our local specialties."
