For the ninth term of the local administration, Park proposed six major goals: an "Innovative and Symbiotic Economy," an "Inclusive Basic Society for Happiness," a "Youthful Special City—Korea's Capital for Young People," "The Nation's Best Education and Culture," a "Sustainable and Safe Healing Garden City," and an "Open AI Innovation Gwanak Office."
Park emphasized customized welfare policies and securing growth momentum tailored to Gwanak District's unique characteristics. He explained, "Gwanak District is a community where many young people and single-person households live alongside seniors, people with disabilities, women, and residents in need of care. Connecting growth assets like Seoul National University and Gwanak S-Valley with jobs, housing, safety, care, education, and welfare is more important than anything else."
As key initiatives, Park cited the promotion of Gwanak S-Valley 3.0, strengthening housing welfare for young people, expanding policies for single-person households, and enhancing public safety. He also promised to upgrade leisure and welfare facilities for seniors, support independent living and health improvement for people with disabilities, advance the city as a women-friendly district, and foster all 21 neighborhoods as dementia-safe communities.
Park remarked, "The changes in Gwanak District should not be limited to the youth. Real local politics and real district administration mean creating a Gwanak District where young people choose to stay, seniors feel comfortable, and people with disabilities, women, and families affected by dementia can all feel secure together."
He added, "The issues residents feel most strongly about ultimately stem from anxiety and inconvenience in their daily lives. I will address practical issues—such as transportation discomfort and care challenges—that directly impact people’s lives through action. I will approach this election with a commitment to fully honor my promises to the residents."
