Seungwon Park, candidate for Mayor of Gwangmyeong City from the Democratic Party, officially registered as a candidate at the Gwangmyeong City Election Commission on the 14th and has now begun the full-scale election campaign.

View original imageAfter registering as a candidate for the 9th nationwide simultaneous local elections for Mayor of Gwangmyeong City, Park stated, "I have created changes in Gwangmyeong together with citizens over the past years," and added, "Now, I will continue to lead a competent municipal administration that ensures a greater leap forward and future growth to fundamentally improve citizens' lives."
He further emphasized, "Gwangmyeong is a city with ample potential and competitiveness to become the core city of the southwestern part of the Seoul metropolitan area," and promised, "I will bring tangible changes to the economy, jobs, transportation, housing, culture, and even carbon neutrality that citizens can truly experience."

He also remarked, "This election is not simply about choosing a mayor, but a crucial decision that will determine Gwangmyeong's future for the next 100 years," and vowed, "Together with the citizens, I will build a bigger and stronger Gwangmyeong."
