[Breaking] Xi Jinping Meets with U.S. Business Leaders: "China's Opening-Up Will Expand"
On May 14, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with American business leaders who accompanied U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to China, stating, "China's opening to the outside world will further expand in the future."
According to China's state-run broadcaster CCTV, President Xi said, "China welcomes the United States' efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with China," and added, "I believe American companies will enjoy broader opportunities in the Chinese market."

According to the broadcaster, President Xi had a meeting with American business leaders after concluding the U.S.-China summit with President Trump, which began at 10:25 a.m. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that President Trump and his staff left the summit venue, the Great Hall of the People, at around 12:52 p.m. that day.
