On May 14, Huawei announced that it hosted the "10th Huawei ICT Competition APAC Finals and Awards Ceremony" at its ASEAN headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.


This year, more than 8,600 students from 14 countries, including Korea, participated in the competition. Participants competed in the Innovation category and the Practical category, which consists of Cloud, Network, and Computing tracks. In the finals, approximately 160 students from 13 countries advanced.


In the Innovation category, the National University of Singapore won the top prize. In the Practical category, the University of Posts and Telecommunications of Vietnam received the top honor in the Computing and Cloud tracks, while Bulacan State University of the Philippines was awarded first place in the Network track.
