Monami Launches Goods Featuring Artists with Developmental Disabilities in Collaboration with Hana Financial Group
5% of Proceeds from Production to Be Donated
Monami announced on May 14 that it has collaborated with Hana Financial Group to produce a collection of collaborative goods featuring the winning artworks from the “Hana Art Bus” art competition for artists with developmental disabilities. A portion of the proceeds from the production will be donated.
This collaboration showcases a total of four works. The winning piece from the first competition, “Forest Friends” by Seungheon Han, and the second competition’s winning piece, “A Bookstore with a View of the Forest” by Jin-Ho Hwang, have been incorporated into the “Live Color 10-Color Set,” which includes packaging and two types of postcards.
Additionally, the second competition’s winning work, “Tree with Growing Green Fruits” by Jaeyoung Lee, has been applied to the “153ID Oatmeal” product, which includes a ballpoint pen, packaging, and an insert. The fourth competition’s winning piece, “Frogs and Friends of the Pond Village” by Dowon Lee, has been featured on the “BP153 3-Pack” product.
Monami plans to donate 5% of the proceeds from the production of these goods to Art We Can, the Korea Association for the Culture and Arts of People with Developmental Disabilities. The donations will be used to support the operation of the “2026 Special Melody” piano concert for pianists with developmental disabilities, which is scheduled to be held in July.
