It aims to introduce outstanding products and brands from local social economy enterprises to citizens and widely promote the values and significance of the social economy.
With the theme ‘Healing Week: Embracing Value’, this pop-up store will feature a variety of local social economy enterprises, offering a diverse selection of products that embody social values. Attendees can explore local specialties and eco-friendly goods at the event, which will be open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
There will also be interactive programs in which citizens can participate. Activities such as making bookmarks, pencils, and keychains are designed to help families and citizens engage with and enjoy the social economy in a more approachable way. During the event, citizens will have opportunities to experience and purchase products firsthand, naturally practicing value-based consumption in their daily lives.
The event is intended to go beyond simple sales, fostering shared appreciation for social values between producers and consumers and promoting a culture of consumption that supports local communities.
This marks the second public-private partnership event linked with a major regional distribution network, following the ‘Value Together Festa’ held in collaboration with Lotte Premium Outlets Paju, thus further supporting market expansion for social economy enterprises and enhancing citizen engagement.
Paju City plans to continue expanding this public-private cooperation model to revitalize the social economy through such collaborations with Starfield Village Unjeong.
Paju City expects this pop-up store to help establish a foundation for the sustainable growth of social economy enterprises while providing citizens with opportunities to experience value-based consumption as part of their everyday lives.
