With a single app, users can hail and pay for various transportation modes such as Ddokbus (Demand Responsive Transport, DRT), shared bicycles, shared kickboards (personal mobility, PM), taxis, and metropolitan call buses. In addition, the app provides real-time arrival information for city buses and subways, thereby revolutionizing the convenience of mobility for residents of Gyeonggi Province.
Launched in 2023, "Ddokta" has continuously expanded its service areas and integrated transportation options. As of 2026, the app is on the verge of surpassing approximately 1.9 million cumulative downloads. In particular, "Ddokbus"—a demand-responsive transport service that has received enthusiastic support from residents—currently operates a total of 322 vehicles across 20 cities and counties within Gyeonggi Province, significantly helping to address public transportation blind spots.
At the App Awards ceremony hosted by Digital Chosun Ilbo, Ddokta has received the Grand Prize for three consecutive years since 2023 and has also won the Mobile Award Grand Prize for three consecutive years. It has been recognized for its innovation in transforming everyday mobility for residents and is regarded as Gyeonggi Province’s representative transportation service app.
Jae-man Park, President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, stated, "We will continue to enhance service integration and functionality so that Gyeonggi residents can use various transportation options more conveniently through a single app. We will also work to establish a smart transportation system that improves mobility and operational efficiency across the entire province."
