"Casino" and "The Great Battle" Take the Stage... KISF Presents OSTs with Orchestra
Yoon Ilsang and WE Philharmonic Collaboration
Large-Scale Outdoor Concert in Busan
A large-scale performance bringing streaming content music to the stage will take place in Busan.
The Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF 2026) will hold the "2026 KISF OST Concert: Yoon Ilsang & WE Philharmonic Streaming Concert" at the Busan Cinema Center Loop Theater on June 19 at 7:30 p.m.
This performance will feature film and drama original soundtracks rearranged for orchestra. Music director Yoon Ilsang will personally conduct and play the piano, with the WE Philharmonic Orchestra collaborating. Music from popular works such as "Casino," "The Roundup: Punishment," "The Great Battle," and "Fine: The Country Bumpkins" will be newly presented.
WE Philharmonic has established itself as a leading orchestra in Korea through film music concerts and similar performances. Based on nearly 100 concerts annually, the orchestra aims to deliver the emotional impact of screen music live on stage.
There will also be live vocal performances. Singers Lee Eunmi and Lim Hanbyul, as well as the band Eoneu Ilsang, will participate, presenting live performances in combination with the orchestra.
Music director Yoon Ilsang said, "I want to bring the music from the screen to life on stage," and added, "I hope it will be a time to connect with the audience."
KISF is a festival that combines streaming-era content and music. Last year, it captivated audiences with an OST performance. This year, the festival has scaled up the event with a focus on orchestra to enhance the completeness of the performance.
