On May 5, to celebrate Children's Day, Sangju City in North Gyeongsang Province newly established and opened the 'Bukcheon Children's Playground' near the Bukcheon Bridge, providing a safe and pleasant environment for children to play.
The newly opened Bukcheon Children's Playground was created as part of the 'Bukcheon District River Disaster Prevention Project,' which aims to prevent disasters and develop waterfront spaces.
Covering a total area of 2,300 square meters, the playground is equipped with a variety of play facilities designed to foster children's creativity and physical development.
Major facilities include combination play equipment, swings, and aerial playground apparatus, and the ground surface is covered with elastic materials to prevent safety accidents.
In particular, this playground incorporates eco-friendly elements by using sustainable materials, and provides shaded shelters and resting areas for guardians, making it comfortable for the whole family to use.
