IKEA Korea Reconfirms Radon Safety of Mattress Products
"All Tested Products Meet Safety Standards"
IKEA Korea announced on the 30th that it conducted additional radon tests on its mattress products through KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, and all products tested met the safety standards for radioactive substances.
Since mattresses are products that come into close contact with the body and are used over long periods, verifying their safety for radon, which can occur depending on material characteristics, is essential. Accordingly, IKEA Korea conducted additional radon tests through a nationally accredited testing institution, taking into account Korean consumers' high safety standards and product usage environments, and reconfirmed their safety according to domestic standards.
