The program consisted of an introduction to the Rechallenge Support Headquarters, sharing of cases overcoming failure, customized mentoring in fields such as investment attraction, accounting, legal affairs, and labor, as well as networking between companies and support organizations.
Until now, the Small and Medium Business Corporation has offered one-on-one mentoring focused on internal experts. However, starting this year with the launch of the Rechallenge Support Headquarters, the organization is expanding programs for cooperation and capacity building among entrepreneurs attempting a comeback. By sharing stories of overcoming failure and forming external expert groups suited to each industry and company characteristic, the organization introduced group mentoring in the format of a "Fail-Con," a meeting for sharing experiences of failure.
Group mentoring is effective in that it allows participants to share a wide range of experiences and solutions that are difficult to obtain through individual consultations. Through multidimensional advice from experts in various fields, problems can be analyzed from multiple perspectives and concrete solutions can be identified, thereby enhancing the execution capability and resilience of entrepreneurs attempting a comeback.
At the event held on the 29th at the Daejeon Rechallenge Innovation Campus, about 40 representatives of comeback companies and about 20 professional mentors from the Daejeon-Chungcheong region participated. Officials from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and other organizations supporting comeback efforts took part. They collaborated with external experts such as lawyers and accountants to propose multidimensional solutions.

Ilho Kim, Director of Corporate Finance at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, stated, "Entrepreneurs making a comeback need opportunities to learn and overcome by sharing experiences, as they have gone through business failures or restructuring. Through this group mentoring, not only will they be able to connect with the experts they need in each field, but they will also open up possibilities for collaboration by networking with other companies in similar situations."
