ADOR Legal Team Resigns
It was belatedly revealed that ADOR had filed for a provisional seizure of the real estate owned by the mother of former NewJeans member Danielle and by Min Heejin, former CEO of ADOR.
According to the legal community on April 29, the Seoul Central District Court approved the application for provisional seizure of real estate filed by ADOR on February 2. On January 23, ADOR filed the application for provisional seizure against Danielle's mother, Ms. A, and former CEO Min.
Provisional seizure is a measure in which the court temporarily restricts the debtor from disposing of their assets. The total claim amount is 7 billion won. Of this, 2 billion won pertains to Ms. A, and 5 billion won concerns former CEO Min's real estate.
This measure stems from the exclusive contract dispute between ADOR and the members that escalated to a legal battle. After terminating Danielle's exclusive contract in December of last year, ADOR filed a lawsuit seeking damages of approximately 43 billion won. ADOR claims that both Danielle's side and former CEO Min bear significant responsibility for Danielle’s departure from the team and the subsequent delay in her return.
Meanwhile, ADOR's legal team submitted their resignation on April 24, about three weeks before the first hearing. The first hearing is scheduled for the 15th of next month.

The case is currently being heard by Presiding Judge Nam Insu of the 31st Civil Division at the Seoul Central District Court. Previously, Judge Nam ruled in favor of former CEO Min in the first trial concerning the put option dispute between Min and HYBE.
