View original imageAccording to the National Integration Committee, after the visit to the tomb, Chairperson Lee paid a courtesy call to Kwon Yang-sook and sought her advice on national integration.
Chairperson Lee presented his book, "Conviction," to Ms. Kwon, stating, "I will work toward national integration based on the will of former President Roh and the teachings of Ms. Kwon." He added, "It is important to acknowledge differences with citizens who have different ideological orientations and to communicate based on constitutional values."

This visit by Chairperson Lee coincided with the 17th anniversary of the passing of former President Roh. He was accompanied by Kwak Sang-eon, a lawmaker from the Democratic Party of Korea and son-in-law of the late former President, as well as Vice Chairpersons Jeon Ji-myeong and Kim Myung-jin of the National Integration Committee, and Division Chairs Kim Jeong-ki and Kang Min-a. Vice Chairperson Jeon emphasized the importance of improving laws and systems for national integration, while Division Chair Kim Jeong-ki stressed the need for political advancement that matches the high level of the public.
