Training on Attracting Foreign Patients to Be Offered
The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development (President: Ko Ho-yeon) will participate in the "2026 International Expo for Korean Medicine and Integrative Medicine Industry (K-MEX)", which will be held from April 25 to 26, to introduce its comprehensive support programs for the entire value chain of the Korean medicine industry and to provide on-site consultations.
K-MEX is an industrial expo in the field of Korean medicine, hosted by the Seoul Korean Medicine Association. It is an exhibition and academic event designed to promote the excellence of Korean medicine both domestically and internationally, and to foster the integrative medicine industry.

The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development will operate a promotional booth at this expo, where it plans to introduce, in an integrated manner, its full-cycle support programs for the Korean medicine industry, including: ▲ Korean medicine resources and R&D ▲ quality, certification, and production ▲ product commercialization and technical support ▲ global expansion and talent development.
Visitors will be able to get an overview of these support programs at the booth and receive tailored information through consultations in each specialized field.
In addition, the institute will conduct a survey and SNS event open to all visitors, and provide multilingual promotional materials in English, Chinese, Japanese, and other languages so that foreign visitors can easily access information related to Korean medicine on site.
In particular, on April 26, a capacity-building (continuing education accredited) program for healthcare institution staff will be held at COEX Hall D, Conference Room C, under the theme "Successful Strategies and Risk Management for Attracting Foreign Patients to Korean Medicine Institutions."

The training session will cover practical topics such as internationalization strategies for Korean medicine, characteristics and case studies of patients by country, effective promotional methods, and medical advertising laws.
