KB Kookmin Bank Launches Specialized "KB Prime Companion Homecoming Service" for Reverse Immigration
One-Stop Support from Relocation to Settlement
Tailored Financial Services for Reverse Immigration Clients
Integration with Family Office and KB Golden Life... Strengthening Comprehensive Wealth Management System
On April 22, KB Kookmin Bank announced the launch of its specialized reverse immigration service, “KB Prime Companion Homecoming Service,” which provides comprehensive, one-stop support for overseas Koreans returning to Korea in response to the increasing influx and need for stable resettlement.
This service was introduced to address the growing demand for domestic returns and asset restructuring among overseas Koreans, driven by recent changes in the global asset market environment and rising preference for Korea’s education and living infrastructure. Recognizing that reverse immigration customers face complex needs beyond a simple change of residence—including asset transfer, tax and legal issues, and lifestyle settlement—KB Kookmin Bank offers an integrated package of administrative, tax, real estate, legal, and wealth management services.
As the first in the “Companion” series for wealth management clients, the “KB Prime Companion Homecoming Service” provides tailored, one-stop support throughout the entire reverse immigration process, including assistance with administrative procedures such as nationality restoration, overseas asset transfers and financial portfolio restructuring, and tax-saving and inheritance consulting.
With the launch of this service, KB Kookmin Bank has established the “KB Homecoming Desk,” a dedicated counter for reverse immigration at its Myeongdong Wealth Management Advisory Center. In Korea, customers can request consultations at their nearest branch, while in the United States, consultations are available through Koriny, a partner company operating branches in 16 states.
Going forward, the bank plans to expand its customer base and service offerings by connecting this program with the “KB WM Star Advisory Group”—which brings together the expertise of the KB Financial Group—the family office service for family-level asset management, and the senior-focused “KB Golden Life” program.
