Samsung Electronics Launches New Infinite Line Induction Cooktop... "Built-in Hood" Eliminates Odors
Hood Built into Center Draws in Smoke
Automatic Suction Adjustment Based on Contamination Levels
Nine-Level Heat Control and Warming Feature Included
Samsung Electronics has launched a new induction cooktop with integrated hood from the Infinite line.
On April 22, Samsung Electronics announced the release of its premium home appliance Infinite line’s new induction cooktop with integrated hood. The key feature of this new product is the built-in hood at the center of the induction cooktop, which removes smoke and odors generated during cooking. Premium elements have also been applied in both cooking performance and materials.
The new product helps manage indoor air quality by using the hood, built into the center of the induction cooktop, to draw in smoke and odors from below during cooking. At the center of the product, there are four-stage filters: grille, tray, grease, and deodorization, which process the contaminants generated during cooking.
The grille filter blocks large foreign substances, while the tray filter collects soup, oil, and food debris. The grease filter suppresses the spread of oil droplets, and the deodorization filter removes odors.

Another feature is the ability to automatically adjust suction power through the 'Smart Mode'. In this mode, the hood operates as soon as cooking begins, and the air quality sensor detects contamination levels (total volatile organic compounds, TVOC) generated during cooking to automatically control suction power.
It also supports the 'after run' function, where the hood continues to operate at a low speed for a certain period after cooking ends. This helps remove residual smoke and odors and dries the inside of the filters to maintain performance.
The induction cooktop surface features a matte-textured 'Infinite Glass'. The coating makes it resistant to stains and fingerprints, and the material, with a Mohs hardness level of 8, enhances durability.
With the integrated hood design, there is no need to install a separate ceiling hood, enabling an open-concept kitchen. After being purified through the filters, the inhaled air can be discharged either through a front exhaust via a lower cabinet duct or by using a plug-and-play method without a duct, depending on installation preference.
Cooking performance has also been enhanced. When using all burners simultaneously, it delivers up to 7,400W of power, allowing multiple dishes to be cooked at once. The ‘All Flex Zone’ ensures even heat distribution regardless of the size and shape of the cookware, and the heat level can be precisely adjusted from levels 1 to 9, including a boost function, with a warming feature also available.
It is rated as grade 1 in energy efficiency, reducing electricity costs. In addition, through the regulatory sandbox system, the company received an exemption from the mandatory installation of automatic fire suppressors from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. This reduces the burden of installing fire suppression devices according to ventilation duct and fire safety standards, making it possible to install the product without separate fire protection facilities.
Meanwhile, on April 1, Samsung Electronics also launched the 2026 model of the 'Bespoke AI Induction'. This product features a design with a slim frame on all four sides and supports remote power control, boil detection, and other functions.
