KISA Announces Six Action Guidelines: "Simultaneously Achieve Conservation and Security"
The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on April 22 that it has released the "Six Action Guidelines" in celebration of Earth Day, aimed at promoting both energy conservation and information security.
The Six Action Guidelines were established to reduce power consumption generated during the use of digital devices and to enhance security, at a time when the climate crisis is worsening and energy supply instability continues.
The guidelines include: ▲Turning off unused devices ▲Disabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use ▲Deleting unused apps ▲Enabling two-factor authentication ▲Being cautious of smishing ▲Enabling automatic power saving mode.
