Kwangdong Pharmaceutical Promotes Everyday Resource Circulation with In-house Secondhand "Treasure Market"
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on April 22 that, in celebration of Earth Day (April 22), it held the "KD Goodcycling Treasure Market," an event where employees could buy and sell secondhand items among themselves.
Now in its fourth year, "KD Goodcycling" is Kwangdong Pharmaceutical’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) campaign designed to reduce unnecessary resource waste and promote the value of resource circulation in everyday life. As the first program for this year, the "Treasure Market" was organized to allow employees to freely buy and sell secondhand household goods to one another.

Notably, the number of items submitted reached approximately 450, representing an increase of about 50% compared to the previous year, indicating high interest and participation across the company. Unsold items were donated to social welfare organizations, adding further meaning by supporting underprivileged groups.
A Kwangdong Pharmaceutical representative stated, "Through this event, our employees had the opportunity to personally experience and share the importance of resource circulation," adding, "We will continue to carry out a variety of eco-friendly campaigns that can be easily practiced in daily life, fulfilling our social responsibility for a sustainable future."
